    说到感恩节，美国人把这一天作为感谢上帝、家庭和朋友上一年所带来的开心事(好事)的节日。但是并不是每个人都清楚感恩节是如何产生的。其实，第一个感恩节是一群被称为“pilgram”的人首先开始的。
    他们1620年到达美洲，在那里疾病漫延，缺衣少食。1621年生存下来的人们决定以节日的形式感谢上帝，以及教他们钓鱼和耕种的土著人。当时的食物有火鸡、鹅等。
    感恩节还与19世纪一个名叫Seriham的人相关。他花了20年游说政府和总统把感恩节作为传统节日，最后是在1953年亚伯拉汉林肯同意了他的提议，并把11月的最后一个星期四作为感恩节，后来又变成11月的最后一个星期四。
